– July 21-25, 9 am to 12 noon
This camp introduces the basic skills for track and field events: sprinting, starting, hurdling, distance running, shot put, javelin, discus, high jump, long jump and triple jump. The young athlete will establish his or her own PR (personal record) in each event and then learn the importance of setting new goals.
Who: Ages 7 to 18 years
Where: Lake Oswego High School athletic field. High school Coach Eric Lider will be leading the class.
Cost: $110 per week.
Scholarships: DSNO is offering $75.00 scholarships for three participants for each class. If a full scholarship is needed the Community School can make up the difference.
